Slight problem... [video doesn't show]

Bad thing is though...it won't. cause ppl still ask about vegas and they stickied the idiot's guide to vegas thing.

I had the same problem, just put a small clip into the middle of what you want to look at and delete it and press play, it really sucks when it starts messing up.

Or you could simply do it right and not use lossy clips.

I was more thinking that the sticky was 4 years of enduring WMM's shit! Not so much an idiots guide.
And it seems that it lays crap on everyone, when I hit most of the roadblocks that keep popping up in this forum, I had no one to help me and hopefully some of the solutions I found through trial error and hitting my PC with a baseball bat and what others have offered up here can help newbie editors.

what do lossy clips have to do with crappy playback?
It has the same problems even with Huffy's.
You see WMM's not picky it just sucks in general.
