it's sony vegas

most likely, your clips are encoded in xvid or divx.
get virtualdubmod, import the video, compress it as lagarith, and edit with the lagarith file.
save as xvid when you finish editing though

donwload amvapp and install it.

lagarith is a lossless codec. the files are very large and are not intended for playback. it's only used for editing. then you can encode the final product into xvid when you finish

both virtualdubmod and lagarith are included in amvapp

thank you for the link by the way ^_^

After i import the video, it's giving me a error

saying that
"Virtualdubmod has detected improper VBR audio encoding in the source file The current preference is to rewrite the audio header with standard CBR during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce to 22234 ms of skew from video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress
the "entire" audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recomress with a constant bitrate encoder."

can u explain what this is saying here, and how can i fix that?
