I don't know if it's just Corbo, or the whole Marist clan. Maybe we could have a Tom Bash! Or Bash Tom!
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Damn. Well, as long as Hsien stamps the con with his seal of approval, ie. projectile vomit, the con won't be a total loss.

So whenever people want to meet, there's always an AMV panel going on or a screening to attend (or ditch). I'm going to be in panel most of Saturday (got a bit excited about volunteering and volunteered for a lot of 'em), so perhaps we can all do an early dinner during the breaktime? I have no idea what's near the hotel this year, but it's in a decent area, should be SOMEWHERE to eat...

and I'm bringing Fruit Punch and Orange for regular drinking. A certain creator with Bunny Ears has promised b33r from the land of golden malt drinks that don't taste like piss, so I am very happy.

The only thing that would make it perfect is if Hsien were to bring DDR2 VCDs for all of us =)

For food, my personal favorite is the Silver Diner, about a mile or two away. Reasonably inexpensive semi-healthy food. They even have good vegetarian chilli. If we do decide to take a big dinner trip somwhere, my van can comfortably seat 6 other people. As for drinks, I plan to bring the ingredients for a mighty round of Flaming Poofs. And this time I think I know how to actually get them to flame up correctly. Be careful not to burn your noses.

Looks like tom and the marist kids will probably drop out, which leaves me without a ride. :(

Damn I was pretty excited to chill with everyone too.

Or don't walk outside period. The con is in a hotel. Stay there!

<rant>
I always find it funny how after events like this (9/11, and now the sniper thing) everyone keeps saying how brave Americans are in the media (t-shirts saying "these colors don't run" and the like) yet despite all the talk, everyone hides in their houses anyways. Way to put the "terror" back in "terrorism" people. I guess they really HAVE won.

Don't get on her case and say terrorism won because the marist group isnt going to anime usa. That's just a tad ridiculous. It's just a con, not to mention a con that is probably over 6 hours away from where marist is. You don't know these people and all the circumstances surrounding why they aren't going anymore, which for the most part isnt sniper related, so don't make baseless references to them being cowards hiding in their dorms.

Sorry, nothing against you, but I have to stick up for my friends.

Hey people. It's Thursday night and we still have not planned out anything. So this is what I'm thinking.

We should all meet up probably after the contest on Saturday. I think that'd be the easiest way to meet up. Most people should be there by Satuday, so I guess then we can do something. See you all at the con!

That's when panels are. I still say 4PM when the panel break is.

I am very anxious for my Saturday trip to Anime USA (I have to work tomorrow :( ). Like most conventions, I have my usual anxieties specifically:

1. How there's a whole lot to do at the con, yet I have so little time to do it in since I register at 9:00 AM (though I'm probably going to get there around the 8:00 AM hour) and plan to leave the con around midnight.

2. The dealers' room, specifically when it comes to finding time to go there and keeping myself on a budget since I'm going to Neko-Con next month.

3. The sniper (considering that I live in the DC area, I do feel a little worried about the sniper attacks, especially since my job requires me to work outdoors and (most of the time) walking to get my lunch.

Despite these worries, I'm still very anxious for my day trip to Anime USA, especially considering that AMV-wise, this is the D.C. answer to AWA.
