Why not? That might make it even funnier :P

why do you think it would be more "funnier"?

Actually I don't, considering you'd be the one editing it.

Hey, here's an idea: how about you two not flaming each other at the wrong thread?

i wasn't trying to be funny. i just wanted to know why would a amv that has a xmas theme be funnier if amp 4 comes out in spring. and i really don't see the "flame" in kitsuner joke because i really havn't put much out there in amv on the net.

AMV Hell doesn't have a theme, so having your individual segment be themed is rather pointsless.
Regardless, the idea is to have it ready for next AWA, which is in late September, smack in the middle of the no-holiday zone.
So chillax already :\

Head...hit...keyboard!!!

Son of a mother nuggeting biscuit! ... (That's my lame excuse for cursing).

You say to export the movies using DivX, but you also say no DivX logo. But if you export using DivX, you're going to get the DivX logo.

How do you get rid of that bloody thing?! It drives me bonkers sometimes

The logo's an overlay - it doesn't exist in the video stream except when putting a video encoded in DivX through a video editor without disabling the 'Show logo watermark' or some such option in DivX's configuration. In that situation it gets hardcoded into the video stream rather than just sitting on top of it. Just go into DivX's configuration dialog and turn it off (or use ffdshow to decode the darn things and remove DivX altogether).

I figured it out. For anybody else who's hitting their head to the keyboard, read my post (the second post I make on that thread - just look for the instruction pictures)

I didn't see anything mentioning it in the first post, but just in case I just didn't see it... are there any rules on the material we choose? For example, would a song that dabbles with the "f word" be appropriate?
I'm a webcomic man born and a webcomic man bred, and when I die I'll be a webcomic man dead.

Okay. Could it be made appropriate if I bleep the words and fuzz the lipsync?
