i assume you mean overlay.
put 2 videos on your time line on different tracks. line them up where you want.
lower the opacity on the top track

But please please please use overlays instead of squares...if I see another shot with different scenes divided into multiple boxes I'm going to commit suicide.

just like minion said, 2 sence overlay. You can change opacity or crop it to make some effect like Koop
