Problems with converting an avi file

Postby ANBU_Itaichi1986 » Tue Dec 05, 2006 2:45 pm

Im trying to make clips of an avi episode with virtualdub mod. Im converting them to Huffyuv because its what's worked in the past. When I import it into Premiere, it just stays on the Importing status bar, the status doesnt change. Could it be a problem with the episode Im encoding?

Has anyone had problems like this and could help?

what codec did you compress it in? divx, xvid, and h.264 are no good for editing.

Did you change the Huffyuv settings? Try making sure that the Huffyuv files are in RGB (24 or 32). IIRC, Premiere prefers RGB Huffyuv files.
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Hmm, yeah, its already set for RGB. It also has checked, Enable RGBA (RGB with Alpha) compression. Could that be my problem?
