Post by G-rant » Tue Nov 28, 2006 11:06 pm

I'm in need of some help, i recently fomatted my computer while working on a really good amv but i saved all the files now that i reinstalled adobe i forgot that i had avisynth and all that good stuff

for some reason Adobe only recognizes 4 of the 6 files i have
for the other 2 files it says that i'm working offline
so i reinstalled avisynth and all that snaz
in the time like it still say working offline and when i play you dont see the clip
but now i can open the clips in the source monitor, but it only opens if i right click and say open in source monitor

so basically i how do i get adobe to comfirm videos 1 and 4 with out deleting my time line is what im asking, but i dont even know if that will fix the problem

Sounds like you need to reindex the files in question, create new avs files and do the bait and switch method to replace them.

I have had this happen before to me, and that is what I had to do.
