Well, I'm trying to export a vid, and I finally managed to get it to export in good quality, but the file is FREAKING HUGE!
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea how to export a smaller version without quality loss...
I'm using DVD footage,
my premiere settings are:
avi export
compressor: huffyuv v2.11
frame size 720 by 480 (I tried halving this, it didn't do much...)
frame rate 29.97 - pixel aspect ratio: square pixels
I then export the avi file through tmpeg to make it an mpg file. I think this is where the problem is, since the quality is good regardless on the premiere avi.
size: 720 x 480
frame rate: 29.97
rate control mode: constant bitrate
bitrate: 5500
motion search precision: highest quality
Now if I change some of the tmpg settings from this, the file IS smaller, but the quality is horrible. And the premiere avi is good quality, but it's even bigger than the mpg export.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this?
