Vegas and ASUS Motherboards

I'm getting a new computer and I was wondering does vegas 6 go against asus motherboards as I've heard from some few people say it does.

who told you that vegas won't work with asus mobos?

Admittedly, I only have the cut-down Movie Studio version of Vegas 6, but it has no problems running on my ASUS motherboard (A8N-E).
