March of the Black Parade - Official Thread

Postby DropOuter » Wed Oct 25, 2006 11:19 pm

My Chemical Romance's new album The Black Parade was released this past tuesday. If you are a fan of the band and don't own it yet I highly recommend you do. It's very unlike anything they've ever done before with musical inspiration drawn from Pink Floyd, Queen, and The Beatles. At this time the MEP will be the entire album with each track assigned to a single editor. If a certain series or movie fits two particular songs on the album well, two editors using the same source will be allowed.

About The Album

"This album is a story of a man, known as The Patient who dies in a hospital. He goes on an odyssey and examines his life and the mistakes he has made. His strongest memory is his dad taking him to a parade when he was a child. So when death comes for him, it comes in the form of a black parade."

Track List

1. "The End" - 1:52
2. "Dead!" - 3:15 - RESERVED
3. "This is How I Disappear" - 3:59
4. "The Sharpest Lives" - 3:20 - RESERVED
5. "Welcome to the Black Parade" – 5:11 - RESERVED
6. "I Don't Love You" - 3:58
7. "House of Wolves" - 3:04 - RESERVED
8. "Cancer" - 2:22
9. "Mama" - 4:38
10. "Sleep" - 4:43
11. "Teenagers" - 2:41 - RESERVED
12. "Disenchanted" - 4:55
13. "Famous Last Words" - 4:59
14. "Blood" (Hidden Track) - 2:53

Note: There is no audio mixing in this MEP. It is a project to the entire album from start to finish.

Sources

DVD quality anime in the correct aspect ratio only.

Apart from a few lingering ideas that I have (dividing Famous Last Words into 13 parts for each editor to do one of) this is the basic frame of the project. All that is needed now is more editors to take songs.

Wow, what a turn out. I'm pretty surprised.

If you have not heard the album yet go buy it. It's worth the money.

If I am correct, its each song there will be no mix it's just the album.

Some 53 year olds are hott, Demi, I'm looking at you.

Edit: How can you call shotgun on a track, isn't that what you call for a seat in a car, ie Shotgun seat?

This is off to a great start 8-)

I've updated the track list to reflect the status of certain songs.
