SQ (or devo): is there any kind of overall theme you are aiming for with this MEP? Just so i can get some ideas for anime bouncing around.

I'm thinking of one but I haven't run it through Devo, yet. We schedule our phonecalls(leaving in different countries and all) and so we talk this saturday. Or hopefully tomorrow. Not sure yet.

ditto warheart, I may join this depending on schedule, and if it looks like it will be completed. Given your SQ and Dev as backup, I wager were probably pretty safe on the second issue. I do like Muse music, well what I've heard from them anyway, though I actually don't know alot about the band. We'll see when you start it up.

Okay, here's the official tracklist, minus one song:

Okay, Devo can't get ahold of Insey. I have internet now. He hopes to get it soon.
I found another person willing to do the mix, he is a recording arts major at my college, so he can also write in-betweens as needed. Because he is not an AMVer, this opens up another track for an editor.

At this point, what I had in mind for the credits will probably fail miserably.
(It involved video from all the editors, and a mini-music video thing.. Might explain it later).
With the way the credits were set up, it would only allow for 15 different shots of what I had planned, which is why we were only looking for 15 editors.

But, since I really need to think realistically, this probably cannot happen, since not all of the people entering this project will have digital cameras, or moreso, will want their actual face in the credits of a project(the video cameras would only need to be in mine, the mixer's, and Devo's hands. Complicated story).

Hopefully we will be able to do some simpler hybrid of the credits, but right now it doesn't look promising, especially since Devo is waaay out there.
Plus, with varying qualities of the pictures/screencaps we could get, the credits might look like a big managerie of shit. XD

So I'll put the hold on the idea for the credits.

ANYHOW.

About track 18. Devo and I were kind of cut short on ou meeting today, so we really didn't get to discuss what the last track of the mix would be. The main problem we ran into was thathe doesn't have Black holes and revelations, and I couldn't get the cd out so he could hear it before he had to go to work(and being as we're in different countries, and his phone is awkward about that, we can only call eachother on the weekend).

Anyway, we decided that it would be either Sunburn or Map of Preblematique. But if you guys can think of something else that would be more fitting that your REALLY ABSOLUTELY WANT in the mix, we'll put that there.

Remember that that is not the order of the mix! Yes, Bliss is first, but other than that, they are in no order.

I still can't tell you exactly when, but the starting date for this project(claiming tracks and such) starts about a week from now, mixer permitting.

I would like to have that last track decided on by you guys by Tuesday(oct 24), if that's possible. =)

Sorry for the hold up, again! It should be much smoother going now that I have internet, though.

The only thing I have to say about the mix:
I would be very happy seeing New Born at the beginning, because it has a wonderful intro.

The credit thing sounds: On one hand good and on the other hand (for now) just strange for me.

Devo said Bliss HAD to be at the beginning. Honestly, I wanted something like Sing for Absolution first, so we could have an awesome song that wouldn't otherwise fit. But Devo's boss. =(
