monitor capture

i need to have some footage of my web browser opening, typing an address, and going to it.
is there a capture program for this, or will i have to animate it manually?

Fraps might work, though it adds a watermark unless you buy it. I figure it might be worth it, if it were reasonably priced, but what they want is a joke. Depending on the site, you could just steal footage from somebody else.
