ya know, i had this problem once when i did my kill sephiroth amv.
all xvid encodes came out hella blocky.
so i uninstalled the xvid that came with amvapp, and got the new version of xvid.

Well I fixed the problem.
When I was saving the file from vegas I must have changed some settings that lowered the quality when saving. So because I didn't check when loading to VirtualDub and converted straight to Xvid or Divx, I didn't notice it until I restarted my PC.
