hmm this seems interesting. Episode 1 was quite entertaining, and the visuals of him writting the names of the criminals in the book was quite intense. I think I'll give this one a chance.

Wow, creepy looking and a very interesting story from the start. This is the type of show I'd make anime-dissing girls watch. They'd have to love this! "Attempts to do so now"

Oh episode 2 freakin' kicked ass! 8-)

I love scenes when peeps use their brains to outsmart each other (pretty much similar vein with Spiral). Especially with the scene where Light thought he killed "L", but that guy was just a scapegoat just for L to see his "power".

I also really liked that trap Light made in order to protect the Death Note. That's just pretty damn crafty!

And damn, this is actually part of Shounen Jump?!! It's starting to be really compelling.

I saw the 2nd episode and was glad it lived up to my expectations. Makes me wonder just who is the "bad guy" ya know? I'm really loving this show right now. I already got 4 of my friends to start watching it, including one "anime-dissing-girl" somehow :)

Possibly but the author does seem to advocate
one side of the debate about morality.

After all, the story had to end some how.[/quote]

Good god! Ryuk looks like even more of a freak than he does in the manga. I'm dreading L's proper debut. There'll be screaming fangirls... lot's of them.

screaming fangirl one

Postby tlynnec » Sun Oct 15, 2006 5:20 pm

Sreaming fangirl #1 here... they just had to pick a voice actor for L who has a SEXY voice, lol!

Ok, all screaming aside, ep 2 has proven pretty damn good. I *know* I'm sticking with this series.

Oh, and this may be a little delayed, but NICE catch on the Deathnote Cameo in FMP-TSR ^_^

episode 3 was alright...but I must say that I was hooked from episode 1 (almost anything that catches you from ep1 is good throughout)
a lot of people [so far] have rated it "masterpiece" on ANN

...man that opening theme is catchy.

I always like to analyze the thoughts and plans of the characters. I pretty much was able to read Light's strategy like a book...until episode 3 (maybe because I had homework to do too...)
