GIMP support for Premiere Pro or Vegas?

Post by Bauzi » Fri Oct 06, 2006 3:28 am

From Bauzi:

What I am looking for is a plug in for Premiere or Vegas, that supports GIMP project files. I know, that Adobe Photoshop is a good alternative to GIMP and that is already supported in both programms, but I simply don´t want to buy (I have Photoshop CS2, so a little pm with a little file maybe would save my problem, if you know what I mean...).
So exists a plug in?
Would be really fine bacause gimp is a mighty freeware programm... :)

Do you realise that the Gimp supports PSD files?

But if you try to import a The GIMP-made PSD file and the transparency doesn't work right, you can always re-save the image as a TIFF instead; I know Premiere Pro will handle those correctly.
