Except for the fact that Eureka actually shows signs of emotional change that any normal viewer to the show can see, and except for the fact that Renton isn't a total wuss

Just finished watching this series through, very enjoyable. Solid story line, good character development and lots of cool surfing robot/cyborg things. 8-)

I have to say that you have to see the series in almost it's entirety before you are able to make a fair assessment of show. That seems like asking a lot, I know, but honestly this show's way of story telling is much different from your typical anime. It is constantly giving you hints at the bigger picture and the main storyline but you never realise it until things start really becoming unraveled in episode 29 and onward. For most people this is just far too long of a wait, I was lucky enough to download the whole series and watch it all in one sitting so I didn't have to tough it out from week to week on AS.

Overall the show has an amazing and original storyline, a fullbodied and broad cast characters who all grow at a realistic pace, and the LFO battles were conducted almost like perfectly timed symphony.

This show has easily taken it's spot in my top 5 anime series of all time and I have probably watched it about 6 times through now. Even now, 3 months after finishing the show, it still has a profound affect on me.

As of now I say that the show has been underapreciated and ignored by the anime community, but I am sure that many many more people will be jumping on board in the next couple of months with the new AS action block to draw viewers in to watch one of the best mini-arcs of the series that goes from 21-28.

ps. If you have already seen all of E7 and loved it then feel free to check out the AMVs that are my pride and joy "Eureka seveN - Run" and "Eureka seveN - Open Your Eyes" my 2nd and 3rd AMVs respectively. They do contain big spoilers so please keep away anyone who is only following the series on AS.

I can tell you I would of never gotten into evangelion if I had this narrow minded way of looking at things. I couldn't understand what was so great about the show even after the first 4 episodes.. but after hearing so much good things about the show I decided to give the show a shot.. and realized that it's a lot more than what the first four episodes presented. I say to look into things before you go deeming it something. Knowing a lot of people don't do that make me appreciate the type of person I am, so open minded..

Anyways I think the series is pretty good based on what I saw.. I haven't seen much of it though. The series might be great but I haven't seen enough of it to decide on it's quality.. sorry I don't play that way.

If by 29 you mean 50 :P

I totally agree with you. Some of the plot points didn't truly show themselves until Episode 50 was almost over though. You really have to watch it the whole way through to really understand some of what was taking place throughout the course of the season. I thought it was pretty neat that way.

I just finished the series today and I must agree that it is one of the more original series Ive seen...The final 10 episodes had me on the edge of my seat all the way though...

Its a series that I would gladly watch again from beginning to end, which is something I never do...

Alright, so basically, this show changed my life. I love it so much, you guys don't even know! :-P There were points when the mood of the show made my mood for the rest of the day. If it was a sad episode, I'd be depressed. I finished the series in about March or so, back when there weren't many fans. I'm so happy other people like it! I recomend that you don't watch it on Adult Swim. This show needs to be marathoned!

I think the show rocks i mean you guys have a point it wasnt till the end of 50 that some things were unraveled and it is a bit hard to understan unless you catch every episode.

No seriously - I felt the same way. When something bad happened it made me sad for the whole day, and when I thought an episode was funny it amused me for the whole day.

I started watching it on AS and loved it, but couldn't make that aweful timeslot, so I got kinda behind for a while, but I didn't think the dub was that bad. The sub is great though, and I LOVE the music.

So, yeah, I pretty much worship the series, but I've only seen up to episode 39, or so. Where did you people get the rest? I'm kinda driving myself crazy over what may or may not happen.
Ranch dressing.
I challenge you to sit there and really examine the taste of it with your tongue and tell me what it's made out of, without looking at the bottle.
It doesn't taste like what it's made out of, does it?

Really getting into this series. I still watch quite a bit of anime on T.V., but this is the only one I look forward to watching the entire week, and I haven't had that feeling in a long time. By the way, was that a Frank Lloyd Wright house I saw in one of the episodes?

Well I got obsessed with this show the first episode and I have now watched all 50 episodes. I got to agree with you guys on how it should be a marathon show, I started watching it on Adult Swim and it just leaves you in a bad or good mood for the week de[ending on the show, and missing an episode was a drag for me. I ended up just getting all 50 episodes and watching them one after the other. My #1 for sure. I hope everyone who watches all 50 episodes feel the same way.

Again highly recommend watching the show as a whole rather than one episode every week :D .

Yeah I am trying to get a ton of their stuff such as Posters and T-Shirts. Just recieved Vol.1 DvD waiting on the others. Oh and if you like Stepmania there are some Simfiles done by JUBO at this link that you can use.
