My video won't save!

Postby Sakura314 » Mon Oct 02, 2006 2:52 pm

Okay i just finished an amv and for some reason my program won't save it. When I go to do it it'll say something about making sure the clips and save destination are still avalible, and i know that the're fine. I used quite a few clips in this amv and it sometimes says that the program ran out of memory so I was wondering if that would have anything to do with it. And if there's a way to fix the issue.

It may have something to do with your computer memory.
If thats it you would need to install more memory or make sure you don't have too many other programs running. Make sure your clips are in the destination they were when you first imported them. If they were moved somewhere else that could cause a problem too.

yeah...WMM was poorly made
It sounds like one of those things that WMM starts to do when it's on its way to die on you.

one option that I've seen reccomended a few times is to break your vid up into smaller pieces and export them seperately
then you rcombine them in VirtualDub(/Mod) or with AviSynth

okay, this might be a stupid question, but it's coming from a stupid person so here goes, How do you make it so the video saves as an avi type instend of wmv? i can't get it to load into VirtualDub.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... xport.html

it says WMM2...but it should be similar to WMM
I'd look though the options for WMM myself...but my WMM died (and I never even used it (just opened it a few times, experimented with the auto clip maker)...that's how much it sucks)

Whenver I open it, it encounters an error and has to close :?
