Songs with flutes in them

Postby x_rex30 » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:49 pm

I'm looking for songs with flutes in them. Maybe something that would remind you of Zelda or angelic like stuff you'd hear in trance.

Another example of this would be "Gigi D'Agostino - The Riddle"

Thanks! :)

[Kalium: The other example in question is S.E.S.'s "Dreams Come True". However, the title length is too short to accomodate that.]

Fushigi Yuugi OST - Nocturne (Amiboshi's song, so duh)
Onegai Twins OST (Kazuya Takase? or is it credited to all of I've?) - I Give Up

listening to that one now.. I think. I looked up the song name in the supersearch and I found a Fushigi Yuugi video but it says the artist is Ueda Yuuji.

I thought the S.E.S.'s "Dreams Come True" fit in the subject title. It was typed in it but I guess it was too big so got snipped when submitted. I thought I may have screwed up and deleted the end part of it. Either way thanks for the fix Kalium.

Yeah, he's Amiboshi's voice actor, but I don't know whether songs like that are usually credited to the VAs or what.

There's several folk metal bands with flutes.. I don't know exactly what you want, but anything by Tuatha De Danann would probably be a hit.

Blind Guardian's Skalds and Shadows has a flute solo. Don't know if it's what you're looking for, though.

Rhapsody (of Fire)'s track "Sacred Power of Raging Winds" has an amazing flute solo in it. It isn't present for the full song, but it's still great when it is there. It was in AMV Hell 3 as wel.

I can't believe it took that many posts before some one said Jethero Tull. Then again you seem to be the only one who really listens to the same music as myself flint.

ON that note, like half of what Tenatious D did.

Magellan has a several songs with the flute.
On the album "Test of Wills" Trent Gardner goes insane on the flute a la Ian Anderson. Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull is a guest musician on "Hundred Year Flood".
