I just went through the thread,and can't find anything on making clips. T-T

Making clips? 0.o Do you mean importing? Because that's the first thing covered.

Or perhaps saving your AMV as a .AVI(or someother type of file extension)? (Which is called rendering)

Hi, I just got Vegas 6, and it's absolutely wonderful. I'm having a problem, though. Whenever I try to mask something, there isn't a masking check box option in the Event Pan/Crop window! Is there something I need to do before that will appear? Please help!

I know, kill me now, but i MUST ask... I just booted the thing up, and I have heard ALOT of people with this problem. Idk if its been said or i skimmed over it, but I try to preview whatever video footage I got and it isnt showing in the preview box at all, it just remains black. Is this that Divx problem? If so or if not, how can i fix this? I would greatly appreciate the help ^^;

DO NOT USE DIVX/XVID-ENCODED CLIPS IN YOUR EDITING PROGRAMS!!!!

That said, the solution would be to encode your clips using VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod with a lossless codec like Lagarith or HuffYUV. If you're unsure how to do that, this would be a great place to start.

Well, I'm trying to use an MP3 file, but when I import it and put it in the video, there's no sound. Like it's on mute.

And it's not on mute, because I checked my volume and everything.

What do you mean by "audio checkbox"?

I'm new to Vegas, so dont' really know what's going on or where anything is.

Or WHAT anything is, actually.
