Gamma correction with AviSynth?

Does anyone know an AviSynth filter that performs gamma corection?

In AE 7.0, you can set a working color profile in the project settings to match your photoshop profiles. There is also a filter under color correction called Gamma/Pedastal/Gain.

The built-in Levels filter can adjust gamma. I think the syntax is pretty much like this:
<b>Levels(0, gamma, 255, 0, 255)</b> (assuming you only want to change the gamma and not tweak anything else)

On that note, there's also the luma-only YLevels and its siblings. They're not set up for the latest version of MaskTools, but changing 'yv12lut' to 'mt_lut' should solve that. I'm currently sick to death of AviSynth, so I'll leave the checking up to you. :?

How could I overlook that? :roll: Maybe a short moment of distraction. I did check the AviSynth documentation before asking here, but I didn't notice the Levels filter so that it left me wondering why such an function isn't built in.

Now I can check what perfoms a better job for me. Thanks again.
