Disturbed
Korn
System of Down
Nirvana
Tool
A Perfect Circle
Days of the New (<--- Local boys!!!)
Slip Knot
Mudvayne
Rammstein
Kid Rock

Bands I don't like:
Linkin Park (Breaking the habit is one of my top 10 songs but the rest are wasted potential in my opinion)
Limp Bisquit (I'm a Fred Durst hater, sorry you all)
and a few others that'll come to me eventually

I like pretty much all metal / nu-metal / alternative bands, really, as long as I can actually understand what they're singing / rapping. All that "gru-bruuu-graaaargh" crap seems pointless to me.

However, favourite bands at the mo:

- Evanescence - new album out 3rd October, visit the link to listen to three new tracks from it!
- Korn
- A Perfect Circle
- Puscifer - follow the link and listen to the second track called "Undertaker". Mmmm.
- Anathema
- Queen Adreena - damn, this lady has a sexy voice.... :D

The fact that you can't understand them is your own personal problem, there's no need for your idiotic remarks.

The whole point of this thread is opinion. Hence, I am entitled to express opinion, as I have done by using the carefully chosen word, "seems". *slaps forehead*

Don't worry, I think it's obvious that metalheads are violently allergic to any remarks implicating their genre in pointlessness. But maybe 'pointless' is the wrong word.... unattractive, perhaps?

I've actually started enjoying the 'rawr' recently, etc.

Oh please, just because s/he doesn't like death metal vocals doesn't make the remarks idiotic. After all, for all you know s/he could be refering to 6 feet under, in which case, the description would be accurate.

To me, the "gru-bruuu-graaaargh" that Otokodate mentions is what adds to the already extremism and brutality that is Death Metal...Which is something that I love...Death Metal has this unique effect on me where if I go listening to it for a long time, I get this enrichness of purity throughout my body and feel like I could take a cannonball to the chest...

In a sense its almost like getting high off of music for me...

Don't you ever group Vast with those bands again, EVER.

Uhhhhhhhhh...why can't I put Vast in with those other bands? They're rock, dude. Annnnnnnnnnnd...they're one of my favorite rock groups including the other ones I listed.

Sheesh, aren't we touchy? :?

ANYWAY, another one of my favorite bands I forgot to mention is The Red Jumpsuit Asparagus. Just heard they're new song "Face Down" and I'm totally in love with it.
