Hah hah hah. Weird Al is gonan pwn James Blunt

Postby RamonesFan2020204 » Tue Sep 19, 2006 1:42 pm

I just heard his parody of Blunt's craptastic single "You're Beautiful" called "You're Pitiful".

I hate James Blunt so much. What was Atlantic Records thinking when they signed this no-talent ass-clown? Weird Al's parody is so much better than that crap. Al should parody Linkin Park and Evanescence next.

The whole CD is pretty damn funny...
Weasle Stomping Day is so sick and twisted (and short) I expect quite a few vids to it to pop up in the next few months. Excel Saga anyone?

And yes, I'm aware it doesn't come out for another few days.

I've read that Blunt liked the parody, but his record label wouldn't let Al put it on his next record, so he had to make it available via download only.

They didn't have a legal leg to stand on, but they delayed him so much with their bullshit he just decided to comply with their request to the letter (which said nothing about free downloads). Problem is, it delayed the album release 3 months and posponed the tour a year.

The all 3 of the songs he's reciently released can be foud on his myspace page and 2 of them have videos out already (White and Nerdy and Don't download this song). I love how he basically admits through satire that he doesn't give a shit about downloading songs - most musicians make their money from tours and merchandising, not CD sales anyways.

I know he's stated on the part of his website where he fields fans' questions that he gets less of a share of each legal download sale than he does of each CD sale, and that he never quite understood why that part of his contract should have been so (but he did agree to it anyway).

Maybe because not everyone is as narrow-minded, opinionated and pathetically elitist as you?

No, no, RamonesFan is totally on my wave length. Don't be mad at me, all you Blunt lovers out there, I love ya and all.... but....but...... but but but but but but but.....*takes a deep breath* I'm just...gonna say it.

......*twitch* Blunt....must....*twitch twitch* die....Granted, he does have a great personality, but...THAT JUST DOESN'T CUT IT! His singing is like nails on a black board, man, seriously!

No, no, he's not opinionated. He just believes that his is the only opinion worth anything. Everything else is just scenery.

In before lock! u_u Let's not make this a hate discussion. I pity Blunt's dog, but that's no reason for anyone (cough, cough, RamonesFan2020204, cough, cough) to be rude. People like diferent things, and you're not better than anyone just because you don't like James Blunt. Think a little bit before posting warm crap on our forums.
