How do I work with H.264 clips

Postby sagarajack » Tue Sep 19, 2006 11:08 pm

When I work with AMv, I usually uncompress the source to some lossless format and then import it.
Recently, a lot of anime fan subbers choose to use H.264 to encode. I know that it has better performance, but I can't work with h.264 since I can't open it in programs like Vdub and break down epi into clips.
My knowledge on this field is completely out of date so Need help Plz.

KonoE Studio, I will not give good ops because you put in effort. Quality in terms of artistic touch is what I look for.

Use DirectShowSource to load it in with AviSynth. If you don't want to write the script itself, use VirtualDubMod's AviSynth template option (in the Open video file dialog in newer versions of VDubMod, or the Open file via AviSynth... dialog in older versions), and make sure to use DirectShowSource, which is selectable from the corresponding drop-down menu.
