Research Survey
Hey All,
Mizuko (Mimi) Ito, Research Scientist at the Annenberg Center for Communication, is conducting a survey as part of her research about new creative practices using digital technologies.
Here is her introduction:
----------------------------
Can you help us with a study on new creative practices using digital technologies? We are doing a survey of members and visitors to animemusicvideos.org. You can get to the survey by following this link:
http://survey-dy.annenberg.edu/cgi-bin/rws3.pl?FORM=amv
Participation is voluntary, and you should feel free to leave any questions blank which are inapplicable or that you do not want to answer. We will not collect any personally identifying information in this survey, so your responses will remain anonymous. It should take about 15 minutes. We ask about things such as how often you watch AMVs, how you find AMVs, and what types of programs you use to watch them.
This survey is part of a research project conducted at the University of Southern Callifornia. Our goal is to understand the creative work and communication that goes into the making of AMVs. We are also involved in considering new technologies and media sharing formats to support communities like animemusicvideos.org, and are organizing an event on DIY media. Earlier this year we did a trial run: http://netpublics.annenberg.edu/about_n ... pril_28_29
We are also looking for amv creators and viewers to interview for this study. Please email us at dkids@annenberg.edu if you might be interested in talking to us about AMVs, and we can send you more information.
If you have any questions about this survey or this research, feel free to contact me (the principal investigator for the project): mito@annenberg.edu , http://www.itofisher.com/mito, http://mimiito.livejournal.com, 213-743-1919.
Our research project site is at: http://digitalyouth.sims.berkeley.edu/1 ... ction.html
----------------------------------
Participation is highly encouraged.
Thanks again and have a great day!!
Phade.

Thanks for all the comments folks. I'll be checking this thread so feel free to post here or email me.
But I actually have a bigger problem. It seems that there is something glitching on the survey at the moment. Can you please hold off on the survey for a little while until we can get it fixed? I'm really sorry about this!
I'll try to respond to your other comments shortly tho I didn't actually design the more technical questions....

That explains it! I've been refreshing for five minutes but the fourth page wouldn't load...
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Sure, no problem. I was wondering why I kept getting timeouts :Pmitomimi wrote: But I actually have a bigger problem. It seems that there is something glitching on the survey at the moment.
