Queens of the Stone Age is not really a horror badn per say, but thier Lullabies to Paralyze album has a very haunting feel to it. Lots of cryptic piano and creepy operatic signing in the back ground. A couple of songs like the Hanging tree off of Songs for the Deaf have very deep monoton signing ang dark lyrics too.

Swallow the Sun is creepy, if you can look past the growling you will find the very melancholy and creepy sound they create, songs to look into would be Fragile, Decending Winters and 'Gloom, Beauty and Despair'.

Might want to check on Chrono Crusades OST, or Kresniik from Trinity Blood. Those two animes have really good ones.

Nobody has mentioned JS Bach Fuge in D minor, the staple of horror films for so many years.

Darn, sorry to repost, that's the Tocotta in D minor. Just my old memory acting up again.

Sigh - Hail Horror Hail is in my opinion the best selection in this thread so far for genuine horror movie style music.

Fantomas - Delerium Cordia is just plain creepy and ambient.

Enoch (a project from Mirai of Sigh) ais also very horror influenced and atmospheric.
I fear the little people.

I agree with R-A-N-M-A about Queens of the Stone Age and their potential for creepiness. A few song suggestions by QotSA:
The format is: Song - Album

Someone's in the Wolf - Lullabies to Paralyze
The Blood is Love - Lullabies to Paralyze
Song for the Deaf - Songs for the Deaf
Mosquiton Song- Songs for the Deaf
Better Living Through Chemistry - R
Lightning Song - R (this song is more haunting than really creepy, especially when "I Think I Lost My Headache" follows it)
I think I Lost My Headache - R
Regular John - Queens of the Stone Age (the self-titled album)
You Can't Quit Me Baby - Queens of the Stone Age

You have my guarantee that all of these songs are a little creepy at least. Many of them are very creepy. This comes from the fact that many of them kind of hang around a naturally creepy key called the Locrian Mode. So there you have it. 9 songs that are definitely creepy. Slap on some creepy images and you have a truly horrific AMV! Have fun and good luck!
"Well, now seems like an appropriate time to wear pants"

Ambeon has some pretty creepy music, namely "Sweet Little Brother."

Good times.

Graveworm's cover of that song is worth listening to, hell Graveworm's entire catalogue is worth listening to and while on topic I'd recommend Graveworm's "A Dreaming Beauty"
