Okay, this is what I personally recommend you do. Other people may have different advice, but whatever.

1. Do not use AVIs. BUY THE ANIME DVDs and then we can help you convert those for editing. Trust me on this. DO NOT USE AVIs, GET THE DVDs. Just buy the first episode of a series to start out if money is an issue (I'm sure you can scrounge up $20).

2. If you want FREE editing software for Windows, choose Wax or Avid Free DV. I prefer Avid Free DV. Whichever one you choose, dedicate about 2 weeks to learning the program inside and out using the tutorials that came with it.

There is no "best" program. Just try a bunch of trials and decide which is "the best" for you. Then, save up some money to get the program after the trial is up. In the end, it boils down to the editor's talent, not the software, so don't be distressed if you end up liking a lower end video editor (i.e.WMM) after a while.

We don't discuss how to get pirated anime, it is a bannable offence (not that it's enforced).

...

VIRTUALDUBMOD
How to use it

I.
Unzip the ZIP file to a directory of your choice.

II.
Find the directory you just unzipped everything to and run VirtualDubMod.exe.

III.
The Org member whose handle is written in readme_virtualdubmod_dlls.txt shall die.

IV.
Refer to this guide for more detailed instructions on how to do stuff in VirtualD---;alskdjfsdpofdzzzz

Is there anything you can help how to show the picture of the video? I mean can anyOne know how I can see my video while I am making? It didn't show but some of my files are can Import in VirtualDubMod *sigh* :( :(

III was a joke...(unless I'm mistaken...but it can happen, it is 2am in my time and I'm tired)

while virtualDubMod is an editing program of sorts...most people don't use it for that purpose (AFAIK)

VirtualDubMod's main use for you is to take footage, re-encode it with a different codec, chop footage up into tiny parts, or both.

I'd suggest reading the guide that Scintilla linked you to, then take some time to just click some buttons in virtualDubMod, then re-reaad the guide if you want or need to.
