Or pop

Hahaha now i can't tell whether you are being sarcastic or not. I'll try it none the less thanks :D

Gregory and the Hawk - Boats and Birds!! that song is so sad :(
I squeeze my fists and curl my tongue, calling out a roaring shout. I break the barriers, and explode in gold. Hundreds slaughtered, no remorse. Each battle feeds my needs. Arising each with higher force,no limits to my building greed.

Artist: Nobuo Uematsu
Title: Aerith's Theme (Orchestra Version)
Album: Final Fantasy VII OST

I shedded tears at the concert when the orchestra played this theme.

Ruby-Eye wrote:"Room of Angel" from the Silent Hill 4 OST is such a beautifull sad/depressing song!

I agree with Ruby-Eye there, but i have to say that the piano version is better in my opinion. So it's definately worth checking out.

Like i said before, Bush - Letting the Cables sleep and Within Temptation - Pale, are 2 of my top choices. Even if both bands are usually more heavy with their music.

They're both worth listening too. :)

Cheers!!!

I have a suggestion

these songs by Highland

Che Sara not quite sad but a bit dramatic.
Bella Stella mixes opera-styled singing with some hiphop....it sounds weird but its cool. And the song is very beautiful.

Hayley Westenra
Across the universe of time.
a slower song but very very sad.

the saddest song would have to be:

Anything by Limp Biskit or Nickel Back

When I hear any of their songs I get sad for myself (for having to listen to em) and sad that they think they are talented.

(Sorry for fans of either but I can't stand em)

Id have to say that three of the saddest songs include:

[Rascal Flatts- what hurts the most. im not a really big fan of country music, but i have heard this song a few times.

Utada Hikaru- my sanctuary japanese version. i cant remember where i downloaded the song, but my girl is also a big fan of it.

celine deion= my heart will go on. i never heard this song. but i know its sad.]

I'll never forget the first time I heard "Eden" by Sarah Brightman. It was right here on this site as a song choice to a Trigun AMV. (im still trying to relocate it! )

The AMV was downright breathtaking and the song choice sent shivers down my spine. It truly brings a lump to my throat and overwhelms my senses with its haunting sadness of tone.

I recommend it it anyways.
