Yes interesting, does the australian classification/madman credits still apply like Brisbane? Since you mentioned fansubs not being permitted I'm guessing so but can I please get a confirmation?

If not then I will probably be in as these rules look a lot more down to earth + international so good job.

No, they don't. That was the first thing to go as soon as I got my hands on the rules... Brisbane was a mess that I'd like to think I (mostly) kept myself out of...

er... the con hasn't been yet. It's on this weekend 28-29 Oct. The entries had to be in earlier since they need to judge everything and make sure there are no playback issues.
