Kyoto Animation [KyoAni] should have done this, they'd a super sexy job on EVERY anime they've taken up...

Haruhi and Fummofu and 2nd Raid come to mind...

MadHouse is good too, blessed Koreans...

Too bad KyoAni is busy working their golden touch on the new Kanon series. If they were working on Welcome to NHK, more likely this series would have premiered like Spring of 2007.

If Kanon isn't as good as advertised, I'll be very disappointed...

I wonder what they'll change to make the show different from its 12 ep predecessor...

More loli booty-fanservice perhaps? I don't see KyoAni above that as there was plenty of near naked Haruhi and Mikuru to go about. Not that it's a bad thing...

Episode 5 is back to its usual consistant quality (thank GOD), and it brought some interesting stuff about the relationship between Saito and his old sempai friend from high school. And also....
...Saito gave in and allowed Misaki to treat his hikkomori condition.

Man, I have to say that I'll NEVER ever look at sliced apples the same way again!

Tell me about it! I was watching this episode in the car on the way up from FL and my sisters just happened to peep at the screen when this scene came up and I had to do a quick close down of the laptop screen, because that certainly did NOT look like a sliced apple at first....

Man, this series gets really more interesting as the episodes progressed, and episode 6 is no exception.

After Misaki sort of hinted to Satou that Yamazaki has an actual girlfriend, Satou took it upon himself to get to the bottom of this. This led to a discover that Yamazaki goes to a school that specializes anime, manga, PC games, and so on. Also Satou, out of the blue, ended up enrolling a class in that school that talks about game scenarios. This unfortunetely led him to a rather tough situation which tests his ability of interacting with other people.

That obviously didn't go too well, and Satou ended up looking like an idiot. *sigh*

I reckon there was an in-joke refering to some of the sketchy quality of ep4 in this reecnt ep.

Epsiode 7 was another fun episode.

Mom's coming to visit Satou so he has to come up with an elaborate lie to prove he's not a hikkomori and a NEET. So he and Yamazaki decided to put their galge company into effect, and Misaki was willing to offer herself to be Satou's "girlfriend".

Two things that occured I thought were very intriguing and hopefully will be brought up in later episodes.

From the looks of it, Satou's sempai seems to be a prostitute.

Misaki was REALLY pushing for Satou to be her "fake girlfriend". Also when she gave her personal information to Satou, he figured that was all a lie. Just what is her ulterior motive anyways?

haha I just noticed this while working on my Haruhi video, but did anyone else notice the advertisement for "NHK ni Youkoso"'s air date during the last episode of Haruhi? at the 0:22:31 mark exactly.

Mom's here in episode 8!

And damn, what a mom! She clearly saw through Satou's little scheme with his "so-called" girlfriend and doesn't get angry about it. This in a way makes Satou feel guilty since she goes along with his lies. :(

And then after the mother left.......whoa!

Satou and Misaki were about to KISS until that FREAKIN' PHONE RANG! DAMN YOU, YAMAZAKI!!!

Of course it's too early for that to happen, but maybe it's a foreshadowing.....
