Sony Vegas 4.0 Renderin as an AVI

I did so and saved to the NTsomething specifications and it was just a 30 second beta of my new AMV and it came out at 108 MB! Jesus what did I do?
Kratos could totally beat up your dad. With his own limbs. Unless your dad is Voltron.

well if you exported as uncompressed, it could easily reach that size for 30 seconds...
huffy and/or lagarith should turn out smaller files than that though.

in any case, it isn't something to worry about (unless you are tight on HDD space). You will eventually get it smaller (compressing video using xvid as instructed by EADFAG...and re-compressing the wav audio you used for editing to something like 128 kbps mp3 using a program like besweet)

you have to add the audio as a different stream though (in vdub[/mod]) and if you don't start teh audio at the beginning of the video...or chop it up somewhere along the line...it can be a little difficult to get the right offset
