Fairly Oddparents - My Shiny Teeth and Me

=======================
Lyrics

When I'm feeling lonely
as sad as I can be
All by myself on uncharted island
in an endless sea

What makes me happy
fills me up with glee
those bones in my JAW!
that don't have a flaw

My Shiny Teeth and ME

My shiny teeth that twinkle
Just like the stars in space
My shiny teeth that sparkle
addin' beauty to my face

My shiny teeth that glisten
just like a christmas tree
You know they walk a mile just to see me smile
Woo!
My Shiny Teeth and Me
(shiny teeth shiny teeth)

Yes they're all so perfect
so white and pearly
Brush Gargle Rinse
No breath mints
My shiny teeth and me

My shiny teeth so awesome
just like your favorite song
My shiny teeth I floss them
so they grow to be real strong

My shiny teeth I love them
and they all love me (AhhhAhhh)
Why should I talk to you
when I got 32 (woo)
My shiny teeth and me

(shiny teeth shiny teeth)

My shiny teeth and me

(shiny teeth shiny teeth)

{music}

My shiny teeth that twinkle
Just like the stars in space
My shiny teeth that sparkle
addin' beauty to my face

My shiny teeth that glisten
just like a christmas tree (ahhhhahhhh)
You know they walk a mile just to see me smile
Woo!
My Shiny Teeth and Me

(shiny teeth shiny teeth)

[repeat]

The link is a YouSendIt download. Good for seven days or 25 DLs, whichever comes first.

I put my entry in, but I think I might stick with just one If I get some more inspiration later I might do another, but I wonder what kind of stuff everyone else is going to end up doing.

Good Luck everyone!

Heh, I've been putting it off because out of the few animes I have, none seem to be very, er . . . toothy. But a couple of ideas are churning, so we'll see what happens! :D

I found another program through a post on this thread (a page back, I think?) called Magix Movie Edit Pro 11. Yes, it's a trial and won't allow saving to AVI or MPEG until it is purchased, but it only costs $50 and is more comfortable to use than Ulead's program (which was still pretty good).

Anyway, find the aforementioned post linking to the updated video editor thread and try some. Hey, with the right trial (as long as it doesn't watermark the final product), you have 30 days to turn out anything but WMVs. ;)

..... I've asked deuce before and I do not understand why this has continued but there should not be any 'rounds' or winners or set themes.

Guys, seriously, the idea is to just come up with weird, amusing, hilarious and often just plain 'wrong' videos. There really aren't supposed to be any real rules to something like this. Go watch the three amvhell projects (amvhell zero if you are of the age to do so) and you will see there are no distinct themes. Just a lot of wackiness.

In short, have fun. Make videos on your own time. Don't worry about making a deadline unless you are getting really close to the convention.

...you mean you don't wanna pick the "winner" for this "round?" Remember you were supposed to help me "judge?"

Just checking.

And just to clarify,...
Round = theme for the next batch of snippets.
Winner = that producer has his / her snippet for a particular "round" placed on the compilation.
Judge = I don't wanna be the self-assigned omnipotent selector of what goes on the compilation, so the collaborative spirit should be enhanced by getting others involoved.

..... I've asked deuce before and I do not understand why this has continued but there should not be any 'rounds' or winners or set themes.

...it ensures there will be variety in the widest possible range when the finished product is constructed. The themes are, in essence, "creative prompts." I think I covered this in the first post of this thread..?

In reference to Ms. Hunt, I understand the AMV event falls under your jurisdiction as far as TekkoshoCon, but the way I chose to make selections for what goes on the final compilation should be left to me. No one else here seems to have a problem with it, since some of them had already taken part in AMV Hell: Championship Edition (which was administered pretty much the same way as this collaboration). Again, part of the fun is the "competition" which gives incentive to turn in better quality work. I promise that participation wouldn't be half as active if there were no connection to there being some kind of "contest."

Everyone who enters here knows what's "at stake," as little as it is. People just want their work to be seen, even if they aren't ready for a full-blown AMV contest. This is the safest way of doing that. And on top of all this, everyone who enters will have at least one clip (besides their production tag / Round 1 entry) on the comp.

I guess I fail to see what's wrong with building the best compilation possible in this way, since all participants present and future are familiar with how a collaboration of this sort works. If you still have questions regarding the model after which this compilation is being created, refer to this thread:

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=779827#779827

All I want is to maintain control over this project, since it was my idea to make a snippet reel exclusive to Tekko. I assure you the finished product will be nothing short of spectacular...

You failed to go through the proper channels to begin with in getting the event approved. Your details are vague as to how you plan to compile and operate them at the convention. They should have been addressed before posting this on the forums here.

And basically there is a differerce between an internet project and a sanctioned event at a convention. AMV Hell championship edition is not tied to any convention. Tekko is a small con. The more open it is in regards to content the better.

There are some requirements that come along with that. Things like video and audio requirements. Are there subtitles? Fansub footage? Are they in a format that can be encoded to a single format? I've seen fantastic videos submited to conventions or posted on the org that has some of these problems. I can't say anything regarding individual videos on this topic because I have not seen it. But you make no specifics on any of this, nor how you intend to run everything. You need a decent amount of software and hardware for this. Compiling lots of videos for a contest is not an easy task. Trust me. This year alone I spent sometimes a couple hours on videos and attempting to make them look the best possible. On a big screen everything is more noticable.

I want what is best for the convention and that included a well organized, well operated event. If it means setting some standards and quality control, then so be it.
