Awwww, poor Haruhi! Doesn't this make you want to cuddle and hug her forever and ever?! :(

I haven't watch the episode yet, but I bet this is one of the main reasons of why this series is called the Melencholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And I'm getting a feeling that the song "God Knows" Haruhi sang last episode has a lot more meaning in terms of foreshadowing.

Man...episode 5 just confuses the hell out of me...it's like going back to Evangelion days, where confusion and deep thinking smack dab right in the middle of my mind. :?

But so far, it's quite compelling and entertaining, just like Neon Genesis Evangelion...

Any of you guys have figured it out what Mikuru's age really is?...Just for a little curiousity of course, nothing else...well, sort of...

I wonder if they will do the next few seasons after this one is done.... like The Boredom of Suzumiya Haruhi, and the other ones.

I hope so, maybe then we can find out what the hell was going on behind the scenes of that god awful/incredibly brilliant movie they made. Best worst movie ever!!!

SECOND TO LAST EPISODE!!!

Ok, I admit. It wasn't the most exciting episode ever (it's somewhat similar nature as episode 5), but it did give out information of why Haruhi acts the way she is. It also give more information of what "closed space" really is which I am sure will be put into in play.
And I bet my soul that Snow White reference older Mikuru mentioned will be used as well!

It's the calm before the storm, peeps! I have a big feeling the final episode will end with a HUGE bang! 8-)

Ok, time to go and watch episode #4, or uh... 7 I think, and see if anybody can intuit what happens. But since the preview shows more bunnygirl suit action, I'm ready.

I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed this series. It's not something I'd typically watch, because I was never interested in the "school girls" genre. It's a lot more fun that I expected (not to mention "unique"), and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it's going to end. (I even did the profile pic thing)

If anything, Kyon's commentary amuses me to no extent :P Here's hoping it'll get licensed soon.

Mostly it was dancing around the idea of solipsism, and how in this setting it actually works for Haruhi. Really, much of it struck me as fairly unimportant, and said mostly to try to explain things to Kyon.

Ah, I love the dialog in this episode.

"It'll be a battle of attrition." -Haruhi Suzumiya

And Haruhi is a pretty sharp girl as evidenced by her conversation with the apartment manager and her observation of Yuki.

"Impressive interrogating. You should become a detective." -Kyon

Kinda ironic for him to think that, and then have a few later episodes of actual detective work for Haruhi and Co.

As for additional seasons or episodes, my theory is that they will have maybe a couple additional eps like the AIR specials that are shown later, or included on the DVD releases to fill in a few of the gaps. Considering that KyoAni is doing the remake of Kanon (26 eps?) and then they also still have Full Metal Panic as another possible project afterwards, a second season of Haruhi Suzumiya is possibly a year away. According to other people's observations, there should be enough material in the novels for a solid second season (a main story arc and enough stories to fill out 12 - 14 episodes), beyond that...

Haruhi back on number 1 spot of my favourite characters of this show... Yuki held it there for a bit due to her awesomeness, and Mikuru acting in the first episode and her fainting during the Island episode did get top spot at some point too... however, it always came back to Haruhi being my favourite.

The calm before the storm indeed... *sigh* it's about to end.

After rewatching episode 4 (which is chronologically episode 7), I've discovered the following things that will happen in next week's final episode.
Kyon must have gotten too close towards Mikuru which caused one hell of a ruckus.

Kyon and Haruhi got trapped in "another world" which more likely in closed space.

In order for them to get out, Kyon had to do something which made him regret. I bet we ALL know what that is!

Of course seeing these along with some other events not mentioned animated is much more fulling than reading them. Man, I'm getting too excited for this.
