Nope, that's never been done before :P

oh but if your video is named <a href=http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=2339>'Goku loves CHICHI!!'</a> your SURE to get some notice! (hope you know how HILLARIOUS that is ;-p it's not even mine)

least it's not CHICHI loves BULMA!! or I'd die laughing! ROTFLOLMAO!!

But if you're making it because you want other people to praise you because of it, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

apparently the guy asking wants an audience to like it. that's why it's called an answer, because somebody asked a question (and he apparently wants at least 1 person, other than himself, to pay attention and answer)... get my point, duck? ;-p that's why I hate complaints about this kinda (non-originality) topic. (I'm agreeing with you btw)

Well, it's like I said: Make videos for yourself. If all you want to do is Linkinball Z videos, then knock yourself out! I hope you have a lot of fun and you really enjoy watching/making them. Just don't expect anyone else to.

i have an idea of making a dbz/GT video to slipknot's wait and bleed ..thought it that spoke too much of dbz (my eyes are red and gold /my hair is standing straight up/this is not the way i pictured me) hmmmm
the whole i feel the hate rise up in me/ kneel down and clear the stones of leaves.. lol it screams dbz

hehe.. wait that was MY first video...

and I do have a stock Linkin Park dbz video... although in my defense when I started making It I had an advance copy of the album (it wasn't out yet) and I have been a fan of the band for several years. I first dled a few mp3's of thier songs about a year before they got a record deal.... to me its nothing but interesting to see that they have become big enough to get this much backlash...

I liked them enough back in the day to join their streetteam and pass out promo tapes/stickers/posters... which is how I got an advance copy of the cd... its also how I met Chester of LP in person .... had a nice long conversation with him before he ducked out to go talk to some groupies........

Not to beat a dead horse, but in the end, it's nothing more than a cliche. Cliches, in and of themselves, are bad enough, since that implies its an idea that's been used a lot. Overused cliches - now that almost sounds like too much of an exaggeration. Except, in the case of Linkin Park and DBZ...I'd consider it an understatement.
And let's face it. I happen to like DBZ - it was this anime that got me hooked on anime in the first place. But it just isn't deep. Sure, there's cool characterization sometimes, like the switch-arounds of Piccolo and Vegeta...but really, the big thing going for Dragon Ball Z is that it's an action anime. There are a lot of fight scenes. So pretty much, that's just about all you can do.
DBZ is repetive enough on its own. We really don't need to see the same scene to the same music 300 times.
If you want to make one for the sake of experimentation, fine. But keep it to your own computer would be my wish - we certainly have more than enough. Show it to your friends and family - 'cause to be, well, harsh - no one here is going to be interested. Much less impressed.

I enjoy any video that was made with effort and care, period. I dont care what combo of anime/music you use, so long as I can see that effort and at least SOME thought into its creation, no matter how overdone the idea is.
Every person has at least somthing to offer that is new and fresh, dispite that overuse of a broad idea (ie Linkinball Z).

Just my two cents ^_^
