JVC hard disk camcorder trouble

Postby Dan-E » Tue Apr 04, 2006 1:10 am

ok, i have one of those newfangled hard disk drive camcorders, and i want to edit some of the footage in premiere. however, the movie files are in a .MOD format which i have never seen before. I can get them to play quite easily by changing the extension to .avi, but they won't import into premiere (says the format is unsupported), and i can't open them as an .avs file in Vdubmod. as of now i'm stumped as to what to do. any suggestions?

Is it already 4am?....just 15 more minutes, then I'll sleep.
