Let me check my Japanese anime when I have a chance. It's the closest to what was said in the magna.

I don't really like DBZ (i'm not here to bash). I just think that it got old with all the similar battles. There wasn't much in story developement. It was like, after DB, that DBZ was made as a way to continue having a series that focused on nothing but fighting, which gets boring. (though i did like the race between Goku and Piccolo when they were supposed to be trying to get their licenses to drive. XD)

Yunacat is kinda right, but the fights are less actionpacked only at the start of the dbz series. You'll notice as you watched further into the series that the fights have scenes that make them different from others,
for example:
the fight between raddits and goku was mostly just fist flying

then you have the fight between goku and kidbuu which you see a bunch of different things happenin like (i think) goku pulls buu's antenna then buu bites him, goku bites him back

The Movies were always great to watch (if your gonna watch one of the movies watch them in jap. so you can see EVERYTHING) and always had the action flowing, but thats just my op.

Hey I never said It failed, I said like usual Son Gokou has to take out the trash, as in the fusion broke inside buu, and then when they were offered the potaras they refused and decided to fight one on one with buu.

I know Vegeta self destructed to save everyone on earth because he had been so selfish all his life but he did mention that Gokou saved him like he was an helpless infant during that saga, but his plan failed due to the super regenaration abilities of fat buu, which I think was the strongest because he had all kaioshins within him, but he was a bit light headed.

Actually the voice overs who do the voices of Son Gokou, Son Gohan, Son Goten, And Trunks are a pack of girls, But Masako is like really old she was born a long time ago yet she still does her job with minor flaws.

LOL...i didnt read every single post coz im lazy lols but your right that there is no story develoment but even so I LOVE IT! I AM OBSESSED WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHA! Yeh...I'm a tool. Oh and someone said something about when Piccolo and Goku are trying to get their licenses....funny shit! But I love the Great Saiya Man..funny shit right there :P

Just wondering if anyone got annoyed with the GT series...coz I certainly did/have/am for several reasons:
1. THEY ARE SO SHINY!!!!!! Gah! Like their skin look like it is plastic or something...it just not normal haha.
2. Vegeta is NOT VEGETA! I scared my brother with how angry i got about him saying to Goku "oh sure rub it in"
and 3. Android 17 looks really stupid

GT wasn't based on any manga. In DBZ, the artists based their drawings directly on Akira Toriyama's art work. That was not the case in GT. That's why things changed. ESPECIALLY, Vegeta. I hated how he looked in GT.

As for the the things he says. Well, he's more like himself in the Japanese version.

Actually it's kind of good. Most likely the long ones are prepubecent nine year olds going on about how they would love to fly and shoot ki blasts.

This generally provides somewhat of an itelligent discussion thank goodness.

The problem I had with the whole DBZ series was they never accurately told someone's powerlevel after Frieza. I know it almost became useless but the knowledge would of been nice. It could of told you how much weaker gohan was as a teen compared to when he fought cell.

How strong vegeta actually was as SSJ2.

Or Goku's powerlevel at ssj3 and if he really could of beaten cell.

There's so much that cna be told if you knew minor things like that.

 CML!!!! YOUR SO RIGHT! but you gotta admit..to fly would be pretty awesome :P teehee

Hmm..Yeh. But if you think about it their power must have been in the 100 thousands after the frieza saga considering that in the Freiza saga they were in the 10 thousands. It woulda been great to know how much stronger Gohan was than his father when he became a SSJ2 (was it or was it jsut a great power that he had coz that has always made me wonder :P)
Then again we never knew the power level of Cell either.

Well, it happened because Toriyama got tired of doing it. Same reason (although, not the reason given in the manga) that he stopped drawing tails. He just got tired of doing it. It was cute when Goku was a kid, hiding behind a tree and his tail was still sticking out. By the time they were adults, Toriyama just thought it was more trouble than it was worth, drawing all those tails.

After, Goku went SSJ, it was like "why bother, you know he's really, really strong." The scouters were gone, so there was no meter to gauge power levels. It was reduced to Kurrinin and Piccoro (Krillian and Piccolo) gawking everytime someone powered up to tell you how high their "ki" was.

As for flying. Well, Goku used Kinto-un (flying nimbus) less and less once he was an adult. The flying cloud was part of the original "Monkey that travelled to the west" legend that he took DB from. Since, it was moving away from it's roots into more or less science fiction, noiybu (power pole) and kinto-un were no longer needed. But, Toriyama preferred his characters to be able to move fast from one area to another, and since they all couldn't ride kinto-un, flying was just an easy way for them to move locations to fight.

Or as my favorite parody of DBZ says, "Oh no, he starteded blowing up a city. We need to move to somewhere that's completely desoloate, and it's no place in real life, and it's huge and it's a bajillion miles wide, and it's no place to be found on earth, but it's right over there!"
