Adobe Premiere 6.0 problem(Newbie question)

Postby Squall_Leonhart » Tue Oct 01, 2002 3:59 pm

First of all i'm a complete noob i've read the guides at a-m-v.org and have only made 2 videos so far,so flame if you wish.

I'm using Adobe Premiere 6.0 and my source files are in Huffyuv format, when i import some clips for the vid it does'nt allow me to use transitions!,a [X] figure is displayed in the top right corner of the monitor.I've read the entire manual but it does'nt say what's happening(or i did'nt look at the right place).Somebody plz tell me whats going on i really need to use those transitions.I am sure i am doing it correctly as when i click on "show actual clips" in the transition menu it shows it but it does'nt happen in the final export.

I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me.

Thanks

You need to PREVIEW the section. You can do this either by hitting enter, or by holding down alt as you drag over the timeline.
