That is the TRUE definition of a trippy ass video! Not to mention one the most original concept I have seen this year.

very often last year. I love how he got a story and moral through, without having to bore me for several minutes. I can even say it influenced some of my later works.

That explains that Koi Kaze segment you did.

This is my first video, and also my first experience with After Effects.

Forsaken

It's dedicated to 'The End' film of Evangelion ("Best use of an overused anime"?) and to my favorite song.

The "particularitity": i use the scene in the video in almost same sequence of the same scene in the film,
to made a "reassuming", but i also dedicate high effort to link the scenes to lyrics.

I would think the video maybe qualify for this "First video" catagory. Thanks!

**Shameless Self-Pimping Here**

Silent Ronin
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=95065
Anime: Samurai Champloo
Song: Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence

Currently, it stands at a 3.65 on star ratings. The footage is a little on the "slow mo" looking side because I didn't really understand my video editor/capture programs when I made it...but I still think for my first attempt at an AMV it's not too shabby.

**Shameless Self-Promotion**

I, Shield

Anime: Eyeshield 21
Song: Porno Graffitti - Shiawase ni Tsuite Honkidashite

My very first AMV with nice looking visual effects and great music. Fast moving sport/action video. Must see!

Some ops received:

-AWESOME! the best

-This was the best AMV I have ever watched!

-Masterfully done and a rare find! Hope you do more Eyeshield 21 vids.

-Awesome debut! Wonderful and creative use of effects.

I'm going to recommend There's not too many Anne of Green Gables AMV's, and this one was just really nice. I think imuneekru's Worlds Apart was made almost the same time if not earlier, but Flight of Fancy was her first release. It's really neat to see her progress as an AMV creator.
