WMV problem.

Postby Kobe101 » Sun Dec 04, 2005 8:38 pm

Sometimes when I'm making my video, after some clips the music stops but the movie keeps on playing. Yet on the screen you only see the end of the clip frozen.

How do I fix this?

do you mean WMM?
to me it sounds like you're using xvid/divx
to find out if you are using these codecs navigate to your footage (the actual file, not the clip in WMM) right click and select properties.
then click on the summary tab (make sure you click on advanced) then look at video compression.
if it says divx or xvid, you'll have to re-encode your clips (with another codec)

I'm pretty sure you can always re-encode.
what program are you using to encode?

i'd suggest using Virtual Dub Mod it can import almost anything (given that you have the codecs used to encode the video)
