Which is why we have to keep saying no to the same ideas again and again. The whole board is plagued by the same damn thing... It's not okay. Read a bit before thinking your opinion is unique or good for that matter.
I dont think its unique, but I KNOW its good. Sorry folks, its the way the world works. You get nothing for nothing - welcome to the real world.

In the real world, suggestions are worthless if they do not adhere to prescribed requirements.

Your suggestion sucks because

(1) by your own admission, you did not read those requirements, and
(2) Phade stated, on page 13, that

The suggestion is thus outside the scope of the problem domain; furthermore, it is worthless.

It's odd that you berate us for not living in the "real world" when you clearly haven't been there.

Oh, just another thing. It took all of five minutes to find the post I linked to.

You know what else isn't tolerated in the real world?

Slothfulness. Incompetence. Unjustified arrogance.

He represents the reason the mods have to do so much damned work around here. It's okay to get pissed every once and a while about this. People that show no effort in attempting to understand what's going on and act like they have the answer to all our problems are definately not what we need. People who don't bother to read anything before jumping in with questions or "advice" are not what we need. People who make informed and worthwile ideas and statements ARE what we need.

There's no evidence to suggest that what we're trying to do is impossible.

You don't handle rejection well, it seems.

Oh yes.. I'm so heartbroken because I've been rejected on AMV's forums. =( Cant you just see the tears? Oye, get a life. Whats sad is, its going to come down to a donation bandwidth cap, or limited bandwidth period, and your going to go - wow - damn I'm a moron.
