the second raid isnt so impresive >.> i personally like fumoffu the best season, im just more into school life/ comedy based anime, and not too into big robots saving the world. anyways, i will watch all FMP becuase i like the characters, especially chidori, i reckon shes the best female character ever created :P

Episode nine is awesome.

How can you argue with this?

I'm sure the fanboys were happy with that one.

Ep 10 is out now. It's back to being boring again. At least
Sagara finally made a move by leaving the mission. It's about time. Now all we need is him to figure out his problem and get him and Chidori back together so he can activate the lambda driver and kick some ass. Then end hopefully.

Yes, that was indeed her first kiss. Which makes it all the worse.

On the plus side, both of them seem to have figured out that they have feelings for the other. Which will hopefully lead the way for them getting together in later seasons.

If anyone is confused or in suspense you should go read the novels (English translations from [Kalium: URL of site with downloads removed.]) as the anime follows along rather well.

I for one am satisfied with Chidori's misery after the stolen first kiss...

I looked at my screen with satisfaction and muttered:

"Yeah you stupid girl, you deserved it..."

She has had soo many opportunities to just jump Sagara's bones and a little kiss would have been enough... But noooooo, she has to fall under the millions of anime idiots who can't be true to their feelings. [which is why Kimi ga Nozomu Eien rox me. Too bad it's tragedy after tragedy...]

I was glad she was severely punished for her procrastinating. I honestly think Sosuke should now hop on either Melissa Mao [yeah sue me] or Theresa (not Teletha you stupid ADV translators...). Theresa is just the type to put his ass in check. All she has to do is order him to stop being an idiot and that's that.

No need for the paper fan and all that...

Yeah, but with Chidori, she's the type that's strong and won't admit to feelings of weakness easily. And to her, 'love' in considered a weakness, no? So admitting that she loves Sousuke will be kinda hard. >>

But argh1!! I'm dying to see this!! >.<

Just watched episode 11. Bloody fantastic stuff. The Sousake/Kaname love is definately there. :)

I don't think Kaname should be punished at all for "waiting too long". Whilst I would have liked to have seen her jump Sousake, I think they're progressing along at a good pace (as I've previously said). Besides, it's not really her fault, she has put out, dressed up, gotten close, etc - she's just dealing with the cluelessness of Sgt Sagara. :D

yeah, it's been completely awesome so far. Great battles, some actual romantic tension, and a surprisingly gritty storyline with blood death and destruction.

So far most of the characters have had a chance to shine a bit, like Melissa's undercover gig early on. She was hot. Chidori's escape was super hot!

Unfortunately, am I the only one that sees the show sort of following some pretty standard lines here?

I'll bet that he meets with the enemy, gets convinced that THEY are the ones trying to stop mithril from doing something horrible (like maybe mithril was behind his Helmajistan problems) and stuck in a moral dilemma about that. Meanwhile the rest of the show is just about how he gets back to Chidori, and the show devolves into a battle between the megabrains of the Testarossas?

x2 to everything. Although if the show is treading, or going to tread overthe same standard storylines I will be protected my my ever present selective short-term memory. Everythings new and original if you choose not to remember all the times its happened before.
I have to say, however, with this show its been hard for me to tell whats going to happen next, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's all going to unfold. My biggest concern at this point is that the romanic aspect is not going to be fully developed. I'm afraid they're only going to push it far enough to get the view to tune in to the show's next incarnation.

Well, I think the show is mostly going from the novel, I think. I don't know, of course, since I haven't read the novel or anything, but I assume that if the novel was really popular enough to become manga, and then anime, that the novel writer had to do a good job with makin' Sousuke and Chidori get together or whatnot. >>

And man, I REALLY hope madbunny isn't right with the predictableness coming up. That'd be sad... *pout*

Strange though it may seem... I have been wrong before. I'm hoping I'm wrong this time too. Can anybody point me to sources for the manga or the book? If it's not er.. appropriate for the site use PM.

One more episode to go people. Someone spoiled me before on what should happen in the episode so I will keep hush about it. However, what happend during it is quite hard to believe for multiple reasons. I look forward to see how this will end but minus that one Chidori episode I'm not too satisfied at the moment.
