good videomakers?

Post by WFC » Wed Sep 25, 2002 3:40 pm

Hi, well I'm totally new at this stuff and I was just wondering what some really good video makers were? I've heard a lot of people say good stuff about Adobe and junk. But, I'm looking for ones that you can download. Are there any that you people know of?

:D    TELL ME PLEASE!!!   :D

The only free video editor I can think of that does a decent job is Windows Movie Maker. Most any other software you download legit, is going to have restrictions on it. You can get Adobe Premiere 6 w/ a 30-day time limit on it from www.adobe.com. Most other companies put a little logo in the corner of your video when you export it, which looks ugly.

You can make an entire video with VirtualDub but be prepared for a nightmare in working with it for that matter.

You can use the Heroine Virtual movie-making suite, but I'm pretty sure you're not running a Linux box.

It should be /me raises hand, too. Assuming he's using IRC client command conventions. And there's no implicit aliasing of /raises to /me raises.

Tis true, it comes with ME and XP only. I currently use Premiere 6.0 but had alot of fun using WMM despite it's lack of effects. Sometimes it doesn't take alot of effects to have fun and make a good vid. :D
