DVD2AVI and decomb....

Postby Akashio » Thu Sep 26, 2002 1:01 am

ok. I'm using DVD2AVI and am wondering... should I save the project file as 29.97fps and then add the decomb filter in the .avs, or should I just force film?

decomb :|

ForceFilm doesn't really do IVTC at all or very well, don't quite remember. Decomb is better tho.

I suggest using the Decomb filter.

Also, i've found ForceFilm to be rather useless and you only need to enable it when your video type is FILM 95% or higher. ANd if it only says FILM, then you check forced film.......but I would still use Decomb. I've used Decomb and i've gotten excelent results.
