Alternate Dimensions

Status: Finalizing Beta

For this project, I've decided on an unorthodox method of distributing the song. I'll assign 3 seperate segments for each person who will use their same anime for each piece. The first chronologically-assigned segment will be a sort of intro to whatever theme you'd like to establish. The second piece will be a closing. There will also be an alternating piece in which you will edit a segment as normal, but it will be displayed on the sceen with another editor's piece simultaneously for contrast. For now, this is the general layout of the project:

00:00 - 00:22 - Intro (Not Open)

a1 00:22 - 00:44 - Requiett - Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
b1 00:44 - 01:06 - DcDeveloperX - Ghost in the Shell: SAC
c1 01:06 - 01:31 - Tseng808 - Macross Plus
d1 01:31 - 02:03 - Decoy - Appleseed
e1 02:03 - 02:21 - Nostromo_VX - Karas
f1 02:21 - 02:49 - Warheart - Wolf's Rain
g1 02:49 - 03:10 - Tyler - Full Metal Panic
a2 03:10 - 03:34 - Requiett - Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
b2 03:34 - 03:56 - DcDeveloperX - Ghost in the Shell: SAC
c2 03:56 - 04:20 - Tseng808 - Macross Plus
d2 04:20 - 04:48 - Decoy - Appleseed
e2 04:48 - 05:04 - Nostromo_VX - Karas

05:04 - 05:21 Solo - Split Screen - Requiett
05:21 - 05:38 Double - Split Screen - Tseng808 and DcDeveloperX
05:38 - 05:55 Double - Split Screen - Tyler and Warheart
05:55 - 06:12 Double - Split Screen - Decoy and Nostromo_VX

f2 06:12 - 06:35 - Warheart - Wolf's Rain
g2 06:35 - 06:57 - Tyler - Full Metal Panic

Project Technicalites:
Resolution: 720 x 480
Framerate: NTSC (29.97)
Codec: Huffyuv (YUY 2 color)

At this time, all slots are closed and the current editors are confirmed as follows:

DcDeveloperX- 100%
Nostromo_VX - 100%
Tyler -------- 100%
Warheart -------- 100%
Requiett --------- 100%
Tseng808 ------- 100%
Decoy ----------- 100%

I'm open to most anime suggestions, but I would prefer they fit the techno upbeat sound. I understand this may appear to be a confusing layout at first. Do not hesitate to ask me about the structure. Please let me know what segments you want as soon as possible, and that you understand the nature of this project.

I don't know about the effects bit. I'm not a big user of effects, I'd have to hear the song first. If your concerned about "I must have effects", then I usually revolve around motion, transperency, and distortion effects. You can just order me around if you want, also.

Point being, /me is interested.

Sorry, I can't link the song. This PC won't let me on the site it's hosted on. It's on Soundclick.com. You can try running a search for it. It should be under Inner Universe for the title.

Well, there's four different results.

One is by Dj Jinnai.

The other three are by Ghost in the Shell(US), Underground Nation of Independence, and olive. These three appear to just have the same remix, while the one by Dj Jinnai is a completely different Remix.

Info/lyric pages were no help, and they're all named "Inner Universe". >_<
Do you know which one it is off the top of your head?

Edit: Nevermind, got them both to load; Dj Jinnai's is the one that's 7 minutes, the others are only 5 or so.
Link to page. Should be the second one.

Your link doesn't work, Jet. Besides, I linked it already. =p

Well, I hope this project gets off the ground, Requiett, because none of the other ones I'm interested in are getting there, and I really want to edit to some of these things.

I would like to see this project done. I would like to help. However, my skills with effects are lacking. I did try something in AE with a segment of the original song that is sitting on my computer if you would like to see it. It's not what I envisioned in my head though. If I could actually do the idea that was in my brain it could work well with this project.

I'd gladly join this project. As long as I get a part that's not over 1 minute, I think I'll be able to create something special.

Regarding your concern, SQ, I know a lot of the people I've asked are dependable and won't just back out of a project for arbitrary reasons. That's also why I'm mostly asking talented people to get in the mix, because they know how to handle themselves on these projects.

If you need a link to the source song, this one should work.

I'll try to get ahold of this guy and see if I can get a higher bitrate version of this piece, because I don't want to use 128 if I can help it.
