2. Open windows movie maker, and on the side there should be some stuff saying, "upload audio" or "upload movie". Click on "upload audio" and find the audio, and upload movie and upload the footage.
3. Put the new lil audio and footage icons on the bottom line thingy there. Play around with that untill you understand the basics of making a amv. But never ever ever make a real amv with downloaded footage, audio, and all. People will murder you.
....Heck, people will probably murder me for telling you this. Anyway, it worked for me, so maybe that will help you. When you have a good idea, song, and anime in mind that will all make a great amv, use real DVD footage and non-downloaded audio. Also, you might not want to use Windows Movie Maker.
khokokatt wrote:I know exactly what you mean. the Guides here make absolutely no sence what-so-ever in my brian. No matter how many times i re-read I still don't understand. so, what I would try doing is opening up some type of movie making program (Probably the default one on most computers. windows movie maker I think) Anyway, you probably have that. So open that up and play around with it for about 1 million years. thats what got me to understand the basics. Of course you would need footage n sound n stuff. So, what I'm going to tell you right now most people loathe. But it will help you to understand alot, but just don't make a real amv with this.

<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=289">WRONG.</a>
Besides, downloaded footage and music will only increase the tendency of almost any video editor to crash.

If you don't have the patience to read the guides, then don't make videos. /elitist![]()
Trust me, the guides are life savers.

Fair enough, but you can't expect a new member to just spend a certain amount of money on the dvd's, the cd for the music and a full priced video editing software (which you will be using if you get better at it) before even knowing if he will like it.

Why not? People do that for other hobbies all the time.
