Isn't that going to cut from the picture instead of making it norrow?
Either way we need to know the resolutions of all the parts and see if most of them use 16:9 or 4:3.
If most of them use 4:3 we'll decide to use 4:3 if 16:9 then we'll use 16:9.

Stretching the image would sometimes make it look worse than crop. But I think that depends on what's on the clip.

Here's a screengrab:
Image

Top-left: original pic.
Top-right: Stretched. You still get a full view but the moon is just ugly. It looks worse when you view it fullscreen.
Bottom: Cropped pic. Now it's a bit close-up and too far on the right, but a little panning will fix it.

There. :)

Cant you just add something to the avs script instead of screwing around in vdub (a program which i have only used to convert avs to avi)??

Syntax -- Crop(left, top, -right, -bottom)

eg. Crop(0, 60, 0, -60)
Depends on video resolution. Use the formula.

It wont let me download your vid, says it doesn't allow direct linking. BTW, I will have my part done by the end of September.[vow] I plan to put all of my effort into this project untill its finished, because I don't want my part to suck, therefore ruining the project. That wont happen [/vow]
