Excel Saga - You could watch some Japanese Excel Saga commericials including some for the Soundtrack. Then there was some pretty funny Easter Eggs and other nice hidden treats. Like some Menchi food commercials. The DVD menu for the 2nd DVD was very well made too, including random funny sayings not found in the episodes.

Metropolis - Nice case and cool use of half-size CD

Street Fighter Alpha had a lot of extras too. Interviews from ALL the Japanese voice actors! (and there was quite a bit!)

It's a shame that despite how great Princess Mononoke is, the DVD had like no features. You could see a trailer and the English dubbers...... that was all. Oh... there was that French version where they prounced Mononoke wrong. But anyways!

I know what you mean. That Princess Mononoke DVD doesn't have much does it. Even the page layouts, where all the options are, weren't even decorated all that great.

Yah, it's amazing what an impact a nice cover, case and originality can have on a fan.

A nice case cover is cool cause it looks so great in your collection. Originality is always great too. Speaking of those, how is that Metallic DVD case for Akira? How is whole DVD of Akira?

the Rurouni Kenshin Legend of Kyoto series has nice menu screens and, my favorite part, lots of outtakes. Overall, I think they're very well done. Easy to navigate and nice to look at.

Saber Marionette J also had some nice menus, but not a whole lot of extras.

The only dvd I found to be really disappointing was the first Hand Maid May disc - those games on the intro were annoying!! :x

I loved how D&R had that music playing. It was really nice.

At least they were creative and made it interesting. One dvd that I found to have really boring menu screens was Princess Mononoke.
