i tell ya. its hard to get good Anime from Manga nowadays! I dont get it. The End of Evangelion is ok, but Death and Rebirth was pretty badly done in English. The dubbing wasnt that good. The ADV versions were better. They completely cut all of Rebirth, and replaced it with Air (from end of Evangelion) so what is it now? Death and Air? If you havent already bought it, you arent missing much unless you are a hardcore Eva fan who needs all of it. And i think the only well done ones from Manga Video so far are Ninja Scroll, and Ghost in the Shell. sorry folks, im not having a good day and just ahd to gripe about something.

That's not the American distributor's fault. Gainax provided the masters for the films, and what they offered was Air.

Air is, really, a touched-up Rebirth... so I don't see what all the huff is about. Air is what Gainax would have released as Rebirth, had it been fully touched-up before Death and Rebirth.
