Murf!? Yes I did watch the series! Near the beginning, she is a whining little brat; She constantly yelled at Heero to be his main focus of attention. Well, okay, that was the only thing she whined about....

But it was still annoying! It's like, dude, leave the poor guy alone.

i don't know about Relena whining she also seemed like a strong, but stupid girl to me. As for her and Heero i think them getting together is a sure thing, it's obvious through the series that Relena likes Heero and that Heero has some sort of feels for Relena. I didn't like the how they ended the series, but the movie ended it enough for me.

As for the other pilots

Trowa would get with Catherine Bloom
Chang Wufei would get with Sally Po
Duo Maxwell would get with Hilde Schbeiker
Quatre Raberba Winner being gay would get with a member of the Maganac Corps (just kidding he could of ended up with Dorothy Catalonia that psycho chick or he could just be gay and if he is it doesn't bother me, to each their own)
Can't the end of the road be also thought as the beginning for the journey back.

FINALLY!! :D Someone who's agreeing with me!

But, don't you think that there really is something that is going on between Trowa and Quatre? Like there's this thing between them? I seriously advise against the pairing of Quatre and Dorothy, not unless he likes girls with freaky eyebrows. :?

*blinks* WOW, yins two obviously have never read Episode Zero, or even heard of it, if you think Trowa gets with Catherine...

*cough*

Anyway, Catherine is WAY too obsessed with Relena to even think of being emotionally involved with Quatre. Besides, I think she respected Treize a lot more and would rather be with him.

I like Noin and Zechs. ^.^ The most cemented pairing of the entire series, and a damn good one. Personally, I can't see Duo being with someone, mainly because I see him as the Duo who puts on the facade of a happy genki pilot.

I think deep down he has a lot of psychological problems, and wouldn't be able to handle a relationship...

Don't you mean Dorothy? Catherine's Trowa's older sister. Who she lost at the age of five and while Trowa was still a wee babe.

The series doesn't suggest that there's any family realtion between the two, but in the manga, there is a part where they said that Catherine's long lost brother has a long scar down his back, yet in the cartoon series there is no hint to that. But for those who know of this already, no news, but for those who don't...well...go ahead if you're a fan of incest. :D

No offence to those who are. :)

That girl has some serious issues to work out. Saying that "War is beautiful. And those who die will only make it even better." BULLSHIT!! She probably lost a few dozen marbles when her grandfather died, during the war.

Dude, war is very beautiful. I completley agree with Dorothy. Mind you, I don't exactly remember what she said. But war is pretty much a dramatization of our basic instinct- fighting.

We fight to either claim dominance, gain territory, or to defeat a possible threat. War is our basic instinct decorated with politics and morals. But when you come right down to it, it's just humans killing humans.

Man killing man.

Beast killing beast.

Evolution. War is as beautiful as it is nessessary. While I personally hate Treize, I very much admire him because he saw that war was needed to change the world of the colonies and of the Earth. The people who believe that peace will settle everything is foolish. I respect Relena because she stands up for her belief and tries valiantly to fight Treize and tell him it's wrong.

But she is the one that is wrong.

Humans will forever fight untill everyone is brainwashed and believes in the same exact things everyone else does. Humans just want to fight and prove that they are right, and that is how wars come about. Relena's idea's would be nice for people to adopt, but if there was no war, there would be no death, and there would be more problems for man(over population and such).

Well, that would depend on whether you think pacifism or 'aggressive negotiation' will help solve the problem. I think that war is a form of military defence and that defence can be abused by people who don't understand or realize the extent of the damage that can be caused due to war. In my opinion, war is to : protect, defend or oppose a certain form of threat that is inclined to overthrow a country.

What I don't really agree with, is the fact that certain people with the power to sway the decision of the military, would use that said power to obtain something else 'under the table'. I'm sure that even though there are the pros and cons to this issue. Think that Gundam Wing is an example of a microcosm of the world, showing the cause, effect and consequences of the effect that war has had on the people that have moved on the colonies. 'Cause you have to admit that the reason why people moved from Earth to build colonies in space, was because they opposed the decision that the Romefeller (Longfeller?) foundation had made. If no one had assasinated Heero Yuy, the president of the ESUN, then there might have been a chance that the war would not have begun. Neither would there have been the creation of Gundams, neither would there have been the plan Operation Meteor. A plan to drop a colony to Earth and neither would Mariemaia have fallen into the clutches of Dekim Barton, who deliberatly used her connection to Treize Khushrenada and tried to carry out the operation.

In the end, it all comes down to who is the one that is making the decisions. And whether or not their intentions were true or they were planning on getting something out of the situation. Like the doctors, they saw that what they were doing was wrong and decided to secretly oppose the plan. But, they too were looped into the chaos that they helped to create.

Yes, it is true that humans have to 'get rid' of other humans just like predators kill they prey, not only to survive but to control the population count that is present.

I think even without the assassination of Heero Yuy there would still be a war. After all, Treize seemed to have been thinking about Oz even before the death of him (I think, I haven't seen the entire series for years. @_@).

Romefeller was a corrupt, uh, power, and Oz wanted to take over, so as Treize could act out his ideals. Of course, a coup de ta (?) can only be met with more opposition.

And if the gundams hadn't been created, I think Oz would have then taken over the world ruthlessly, creating a dictatorship. Because of it, possibly "terrorist" groups or rebel forces would then form to oppose Oz. I think in the Gundam universe, there will never truly be peace. As long as mobile suits and people who wish for war exist, then AC or UC will continue to thrive in bloodshed and mobile suits.

I don't believe war is beautiful, but the deaths that occur during war are important, they show as the price of our greed, hatred and our lust to fight.

I believe it was Treize who said that if war came down to men just pushing buttons from the safety of a bunker then war has lost it's meaning.

And i agree creating killing machines like the dolls is nothing more than trying not to feel anything in war, but it's those feelings that started the war and it's those feelings that will end the war.

What i'm trying to say is a machine will not feel remorse and one will not feel the lose of a machine.

It's true that war means death, but if you have to die because of the greed of men. Then, a soldier's life has been for nought. Although that I don't agree with war, but the fact that Treize says taht if war was to be replaced with machines, then man would only continue to fight for they feel not lose.

It is through war the peace is gained. Yet it is through peace the rebellion begins. And through rebellion that war erupts.
