New Upload Server "Kero" Installed and Working

The <a href="/members/upload/confirm-queue.php">Upload Completion Queue</a> page now exists. If you've uploaded a video, confirmed it, and yet it still isn't showing, check there. It will list the status of all your uploads to Kero.

I've dumped avi-ogminfo for determining upload file info and am using mplayer now instead. This has allowed a lot of videos that previously errored out to complete. If your upload did not work and now shows an error along the lines of 'file does not exist', then please re-upload. It will work now.

Oh, and we get file info for WMVs now, too. Someday, we'll actually display it

I object strongly to that characterization of Kero's activities in CCS. He also consumes vast quantities of sweets and gross negligence in informing Sakura of important facts.

Given, he has been acquitted of the gross negligence charge, but I am planning on appealing.

Errr...I just uploaded a video to Kero for the first time (over dialup...about 6 hours I believe it took) and I went, confirmed the upload...but the link still says "NO" instead of "LOCAL". =/

It takes up to five minutes from the time you finish the completion on the website for the video to actually become available to download... Plus, with the server move today, it may take a while longer. Check the upload completion queue.
