The amv contest rules are on their way soon...

They finally got back to me over registration saying that they're transferring their stuff to a new system and they have quite ALOT of memberships to go through to enter them in their new system...

Looks like some actual progress is being made.

You know I just can't figure it out. Why do the rules go through so much shit and revision each year that delays it everytime and yet when we all read the rules. . .nothing changes. So what exactly is going on?

For those who pre-reg back in December and haven't got their confirmation yet (like me) this is a message concerning that from the official forum:

Registration Confirmations go out after Mail in reg closes. Otherwise some people might not get theirs. The current scheduled date for confirmations to be sent out is June 15th I believe.

I hope so. I found this in the official fourms today

We will be triggering a manual confirmation email TO EVERYONE IN JUNE because the system was not sending out confirmation notices spontaneously as it was supposed to. If you are worried about not recieving a confirmation, then just make sure to bring your ID and proof of payment with you to con. These will be enough to get you your badge.

Swick, sounds like you're set. I would've been worried otherwise. At least they're not being stingy about how they're going about the mistakes THEY are making. As in comparison to other companies that normally will make the customer suffer for wrong-doings on their behalf.
